Welcome to our little nest
Holidays should feel possible.
Coastal Nest is more than a holiday apartment. It is our family’s dream to create a welcoming place where autistic and neurodivergent guests can feel comfortable, understood and never judged.
Travelling can be exciting, but it can also involve sensory overload, disrupted routines, uncertainty and a great deal of preparation. Our goal is to make one important part of the journey easier: the place you return to at the end of the day.
A place to rest. A place to regulate. A place to reconnect. A place where you can simply be yourself.

Coastal Nest is being designed with autistic and neurodivergent guests in mind, while remaining a comfortable and welcoming holiday base for individuals, couples, friends and families.

Coastal Nest is still being prepared, and the final inclusions will be shaped by safety requirements, the apartment layout and feedback from autistic people, neurodivergent travellers, parents and carers.
We will clearly confirm the final features before bookings open, so guests can make an informed decision about whether the accommodation suits their individual needs.

The location
In the heart of Surfers Paradise.
Coastal Nest is located within the iconic Chateau Beachside building on The Esplanade, directly opposite Surfers Paradise Beach.
Shops, cafés, restaurants, a supermarket and everyday essentials are within easy reach. Public transport is nearby, helping guests explore without always needing to organise everyone into the car.
You may visit the beach early, return to the apartment to rest and regulate, then enjoy the building facilities or head out again when it suits you.
It truly is a little nest in the middle of everything.
Shared building facilities
Plenty to enjoy without travelling far.
Having a range of facilities close to the apartment means guests can build a holiday around their own energy, comfort and regulation needs.
Shared facilities are managed by the building and may be subject to opening hours, rules, maintenance or temporary closures.
