Real Experience Programs
At HappinessFirst, we turn inclusion into real-life experiences through meaningful partnerships. Our Real Experience Programs give NDIS participants practical, hands-on opportunities to learn by doing — building confidence, exploring interests, developing new skills, and taking supported steps toward work, independence, and community connection.
Warehouse Skills Program
A hands-on program for NDIS participants to explore warehouse work, packing, stock handling, logistics, and food distribution in a real workplace setting.
Delivered in the Tullamarine area, this program includes exposure to real warehouse tasks, routines, and workplace expectations.
Participants will not just learn about work — they will experience a real environment, build confidence, and develop skills that may support future employment or workplace participation.
Who is this program for?
This program may suit NDIS participants who:
- Are interested in warehousing, logistics, packing, stock handling, or food distribution
- Want to build job-ready skills in a supported environment
- Are exploring future employment pathways
- Would benefit from structured, hands-on learning
- Enjoy practical tasks and real-world experiences
- Have goals around independence, confidence, social participation, or employment
- May wish to continue into a certified course in the future
Create Real Opportunities With Us
Have a workplace, venue, event, or community opportunity where NDIS participants could learn real skills, build confidence, and gain hands-on experience? Let’s partner to create practical, meaningful pathways for people to learn, contribute, and thrive.
Italian Festa Event Experience Program
A fully supported, hands-on program for NDIS participants who would love to learn about events, hospitality, community celebrations, and Italian culture.
Between now and 1 November 2026, participants will attend supported sessions where they can learn, practise, and build confidence at their own pace. Support can be provided 1:1 or 1:2, depending on each participant’s needs, goals, and abilities.
We meet each person where they are at and support them to develop real-world skills in a safe, encouraging, and practical way.
Participants will work toward the big event day — the Mornington Peninsula Italian Festa on 1 November 2026 — where they can experience being part of a major community celebration.
At the completion of the program, participants will receive a Certificate of Participation recognising their involvement, learning, and contribution.
Have fun, connect with others, and immerse yourself in the heart of Italian culture.
